SAHARA Las Vegas allows guests to give back to local charities while playing slots with new “Change for Charities” program
LAS VEGAS (August 26, 2021) – Guests at SAHARA Las Vegas are now able to give back to local Las Vegas charities while playing their favorite slot games through the resort’s new “Change for Charities” program. When players cash in their slot tickets at property ATMs, they will be given the opportunity to donate the change to their choice of one of four predetermined local charities, which will rotate on an ongoing basis. Each month, the money will be collected and sent to the respective charities. The first four charities benefiting from the “Change for Charities” program are:
Epicurean Charitable Foundation: relies on support from the community to change the lives of deserving local students through scholarships and unique mentorship opportunities while working with partnering organizations to build a better Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Rescue Mission: helps hundreds of men, women and their children daily and provides approximately 30,000 meals each month
Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada: provides a safe and positive environment for kids to learn, have fun and develop supportive relationships.
Opportunity Village: offers a variety of programs and services which provide people with disabilities vocational training, employment, day habilitation and social recreation programs.
