The Business of Her Returns to SAHARA Las Vegas November 14 for Flagship Annual Conference

The one-day annual event will feature notable women leaders, hands-on programming and the launch of a new UNLV student speaker competition

WHAT: The Business of Her, the women’s leadership platform founded by philanthropist, author and speaker, Alexis Meruelo, will return to SAHARA Las Vegas for its annual conference on Saturday, Nov. 14. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.businessofher.com.
 
Following a year of national growth, the all-day event will bring together women from across industries for an inspiring day of leadership, connection and professional development. Through engaging conversations, interactive programming and meaningful networking and mentorship opportunities, the conference aims to empower attendees to build confidence, advance their careers and create lasting impact.
 
New this year, The Business of Her has partnered with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) College of Liberal Arts to introduce a student speaking competition designed to spotlight and support the next generation of women leaders. Undergraduate participants will receive mentorship from Meruelo as they develop and refine their ideas, with three finalists selected to present live on stage during the conference. The first-place winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship, while the two additional finalists will each receive $500 scholarships toward the Spring 2027 semester.
 
The conference will also feature an impressive lineup of accomplished women from the worlds of business, sports, entertainment, entrepreneurship and beyond, sharing personal experiences, professional insights and actionable advice. Additional highlights include hands-on breakout sessions, networking opportunities, a special UNLV scholarship presentation and after party hosted by Bonita Bonita Wine.
