Breaking Barriers and Building Dreams: The Inaugural “Business of Her” Conference to Take Place at SAHARA Las Vegas on November 15, 2025

LAS VEGAS (July 8, 2025) – The inaugural “Business of Her” conference, presented by Alexis Meruelo, Chief Vision and Purpose Officer for Meruelo Group, is set to take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at SAHARA Las Vegas. This one-day, empowering event is designed to provide women with the tools, resources, and confidence to take their careers to the next level through networking, workshops, and a chance to win a $10,000 business grant.
 
“Business of Her” brings together an exciting lineup of trailblazing women who have shattered glass ceilings in their respective fields. Featured speakers include Angélica Vale, Latin actress and TV host; Lauren Lopez, Chief People Officer for the National Women’s Soccer League; Ericka Avilas, Founder of Latinas in Power; Nikki Fargas, President of the Las Vegas Aces; Azin Radsan van Alebeek, Co-founder and General Partner of Emmeline Ventures; Catherine Gray, Executive Producer of the film, “Show Her the Money;” Jes Wolfe, CEO and Chairwoman of Rebel Girls; Juanny Romero, CEO and Founder of Mothership Coffee Roasters; and Moncy Trejo, Digital Marketing and Branding Expert.
 
“Our vision is to help build the next generation of powerful female leaders,” said Meruelo, founder of “Business of Her.” “As a Latina in business, I understand the barriers women face. This conference is deeply meaningful to me because it opens doors for others and creates a space for women to be empowered, share their stories, and connect with one another. The conference will include featured speakers, networking opportunities, and breakout discussion groups, allowing attendees to develop clear career paths, gain confidence, and visualize their success. In partnership with Aristocrat Gaming, a $10,000 grant will be awarded to the winner of the competition, while the top three selected businesses will have the opportunity to pitch their companies live on stage during the conference, presenting to an audience of influential female business leaders in Las Vegas. The day will culminate in a Prosecco & Pinot Party at AZILO Ultra Lounge, where the winner of the competition will be announced. Tickets are now available through Eventbrite, priced at $350 each until Sept. 1, 2025, and will then increase to $450. Prices shown at check-out include Nevada sales tax and Eventbrite fees.
