Azilo Ultra Pool makes a splashing debut at SAHARA Las Vegas this Labor Day weekend
Premier resort unveils 35,000-square-foot elevated resort pool experience with dramatic LED wall, VIP cabanas, lily pads and more

LAS VEGAS (September 3, 2021) A shimmering and sprawling pool oasis awaits at SAHARA Las Vegas as the premier resort hotel debuts the newly reimagined Azilo Ultra Pool just in time for the Labor Day holiday weekend.Las Vegas’ most immersive Ultra Pool, Azilo opens on Saturday, Sept. 4, and offers an alluring and inspired atmosphere where lush greenery, Moroccan décor, sparkling waters, and music merge to elevate the senses.
One of the featured additions to SAHARA’s ongoing $150 million property-wide transformation, Azilo’s flexible poolscape and event space combine to create an ideal location for pool party seekers, sunbathers, and event planners. Featuring an intimate destination pool experience, Azilo boasts state-of-the-art visuals, lighting and sound packages that blend to envelop guests in a beautiful poolside sanctuary in the desert.
Central to the Azilo experience is the giant LED walls that wrap around the pool perimeter. The featured portion of the LED wall stretches two stories high and spans the length of the pool’s south side. Totaling more than 10,000 square feet, Azilo’s LED wall is one of the largest to be featured in a private setting on the Las Vegas Strip. Designed for any event you can envision, the wall’s multiple screens can be synchronized, while the main screen can be partitioned into several smaller screens, giving guests the ability to watch multiple games or events simultaneously. The screens also can live stream events at the pool for guests to watch in real time.
Boasting nearly 35,000 square feet of poolscape, Azilo features 10 impressive cabanas and three bungalows each outfitted with HD TVs, private pools, spas, and restrooms. Discover 11 daybeds; 14 lily pads; three bars; and plenty of lounge seating. Azilo Ultra Pool is now open to both resort and outside guests operating daily, including special events and engagements on Friday and Saturday evenings.
While enjoying the shimmering pool experience, guests can enjoy a variety of menu items including breakfast and brunch offerings like the breakfast torta, steak n eggs burrito, and crushed avocado. Azilo also features a variety of snackable items including poke nachos, seafood aguachile, shrimp cocktail and a variety of maki. Savory sandwiches include include popcorn shrimp “po boy,” turkey club sub, the Azilo burger and more.
With a full bottle service menu and an impressive variety of champagne, beer and wine, Azilo also has a number of Signature Sips including the Azilo Smash, Watermelon Sugar High, Banana Rum Punch and a Tangerine Mule as well as an array of specialty margaritas, mojitos, lemonades and frozen drinks.

Hospitality industry veteran Steve Sagan helms the impressive new resort pool venue as General Manager of Daylife/Nightlight Entertainment having previously served in similar capcities in Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City, Sagan brings more than 13 years of experience to the role.
Prior to joining the SAHARA Las Vegas team, Sagan served as general manager of Flamingo Las Vegas’ GO Pool Dayclub for nearly seven years, where he played a key role in transforming the pool into one of the city’s most popular 21+ dayclubs. Under his leadership, the venue programing transformed, and he was actively involved with the popular entertainment bookings at the pool.
He has also held general manager roles at the Palms Pool and Day Club at Palms Hotel & Casino, Peek Nightclub at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, Casbah Nightclub at Trump Taj Mahal Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, as well as Beverage Shift Manager at “The Pool” at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Additionally, he has served as Managing Partner of Epic Events and Management Group, where he consulted for several facilities in Atlantic City. Sagan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education / Fitness Management from the University of Delaware.
Azilo Ultra Pool is currently open Monday – Sunday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and taking reservations now for bungalows, cabanas, daybeds and lily pads.
