The Noodle Den at SAHARA Las Vegas to open Wednesday, December 8

LAS VEGAS (November 30, 2021) – The Noodle Den, the new restaurant concept from Chef Guoming “Sam” Xin, will open at SAHARA Las Vegas on Wednesday, Dec. 8. The newest addition the property’s all-new Strip-facing restaurant row will feature Chef Sam’s popular hand-pulled noodles and dumplings, traditional Northern Chinese dishes, and a demonstration kitchen for guest viewing.

SAHARA Las Vegas has tapped industry veteran Wan-Yi Huang to lead the new concept as General Manager alongside Chef Sam. Since 2006, Huang has held a number of restaurant management positions on and off the Las Vegas Strip including, most recently, General Manager roles at Beijing Noodle No. 9 inside Caesars Palace, and Shabuya.

“Wan-Yi brings extensive knowledge and understanding of the restaurant and hospitality landscape, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the team at The Noodle Den,” said Anthony Olheiser, SAHARA Las Vegas Vice President of Food & Beverage. “We’re thrilled to be able to tap into her leadership for this exciting opening, the second of our newly developed restaurant row.”

The restaurant’s menu will feature Chef Sam’s renowned hand-pulled noodles in standout dishes like Beef Brisket Hand Pulled Noodle Soup, Kung Pao Chicken Stir-Fry with Cat Ear Noodle, Farmhouse Style Pork with Knife Sliced Noodle and Tomato & Eggs with Knife Sliced Noodle. Chef’s specials will include Baked Sea Bass with Unagi Sauce, Spicy Cashew Prawns, Wagyu Mapo Tofu, and Sweet and Sour Port Spare Ribs, among others.

The design of The Noodle Den merges harmonious Chinese tradition with a modern style, with an inviting palette of warm wood tones, green onyx and hints of brilliant red. As guests enter the 1,300 square-foot venue, they will be greeted by a bold architectural waffle parasol. Other design highlights include contemporary paper lanterns, a backlit painted fabric ceiling of cranes and blossoms, and a playful mural of cranes with umbrellas in the backdrop.

The Noodle Den will be open for lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will serve dinner from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. For additional information on The Noodle Den or SAHARA Las Vegas, please visit saharalasvegas.com.
